This is the Lumping Classifiers device carried to its highest pitch of efficiency and perfection: the term employed by him being of the most ample extent which the language of the subject affords: such as /for instance/ The Law, The Government, The Constitution.

Bring to view a defect in any /arrangement belonging to any one/ of the systems so denominated the man of fallacy, the man of fallacy to the name of the particular arrangement substitutes the name of the most extensive /name of the/ system to which the arrangement belongs. We thereupon exclaim You are an enemy to Law, to Governmentt, or to the Constitution, as the case may be: and under the shelter of the fallacy he himself acts as your enemy, and by the power[?] exercised by him under the name of Law, Government and Constitution plunges you perhaps into immediate misery terminating only in death.
