For keeping suspended /suspending/ on the neck of Lord Grenville of the new First Lord of the Treasury the millstone of the Auditorship that Millstone by which the connected reputation of the favourite of the people and the favourite – of whom shall we say? – was subjected to so severe a depression, the quantity of money[?] that was found necessary was not found wanting: how small in comparison would not have been the quantity sufficient for giving up an article the impracticability of which the whole body of the self-stiled Friends of the People would with one voice have joined in certifying?
