Correspondent to this whole class is the one fallacy of those ad viricundium[?], viz. Human-idol-trumpeters

 So far as concerns intelligence, look to arguments ad viricundiam as to probity to arguments as odium.

Related in the way of contrast and opposition to those of the class last preceding, it so far /they so far/ corresponds with /to/ the fallacies of that class, and each fallacy in the one might accordingly be expected to have its counterpart in a /some/ fallacy belonging to the other.
